June Favorites!

Hey Everyone! Welcome to June Favorites!! These products have been my favorites all month long and I am excited to share them with you.

TO start off I want to say that my #1 Favorite of the Month has to be my Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation. I have a blog post doing a review on this foundation. My Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation Review  This foundation was my holy grail for the month of June. I reached for it every day because of the flawless finish that it gave my face. In Kentucky we have had temperatures up in the 90's during the month of June and I have to say that this foundation stayed in place and didn't melt away with the heat. It covered my imperfections and required me to have very little concealer.

Next favorite this month has to be my Mac Soft n Gentle mineralized skin finish. This is what I reached for daily for my highlight. The product is very shimmery and some may not like it. However it does give a great glow to the areas of my face that I highlight.

Jordana Fabuliner has come in this month as a favorite. This felt tip eyeliner is great. This pigmentation is not super great however for an everyday eyeliner to wear to work or out running errands. It is very easy to apply and long wearing. Plus its only like $2 at Kmart.

I have a body wash to mention,  Soft soap Body Wash
Moisturizing, with Moisture Beads, Citrus Splash & Berry Fusion. This body wash smells soooo great! It lathers up so well in the shower. I don't know about you but I don't feel clean unless I have a body wash that lathers really well. O and did I mention that It Smells soooooo Wonderful!!!

Last thing that I have to mention in my June Favorites is a Non Beauty related it has to be the Starbucks Via Ready Brew Refreshers Instant Beverage, Strawberry Lemonade that you ad in your water.  These packets you just ad to a bottle of water and shake it up to mix it. They are Delish! I have only had them for a day but they slid in on the last day of the month.

I hope you enjoyed and Let me Know in the Comments what some of your June Favorites were!

Drugstore Haul from Rite Aid & CVS

Hey Everyone! I am back again to do a drugstore haul. Hauls are my favorite things to read about and also watch You Tube videos on. I think that hauls are a great way to know what kind of makeup is available as well as give you a sneak peak into knowing whether or not you want to purchase the item.

The hauls that I go on are often done during my lunch breaks from work my office is close to three drugstores. This particular haul is from Rite Aid and CVS.

 I purchased the following lipsticks:
      * Milani Color Statement Lipstick #11 in Fruit Punch $5.49
      * Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick #801 in Pink Cloud $7.99 (BOGO 1/2 Off)
      * Wet n Wild #553B Taj Mauve-hal $.99
      * Wet n Wild #528A Pink Ice $.99
All of these lipsticks are very pigmented and are really creamy. I can not wait to try them out and let you all know how I like them.

     * Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in #235 Pink Pop $7.99 (BOGO 1/2 Off)
     * Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner #063 Eastend Snob $3.49
Both of these lip products are very pigmented and very creamy. I think that the lip liner might feel a little dry, however I am still trying to test it out.

     * Wet n Wild Color Icon Bronzer in Reserve Your Cabana $3.49 but on Sale for $1.29!
     * Wet n Wild Color Icon Bronzer in Bikini Contest $3.49 but on Sale for $1.29!
I have heard great, great, great reviews on both of these products and I have been waiting on a great sale to happen so I could finally purchase them.

     * Milani Ultra Fine Liquid Eye Liner in #06 Emerald Glisten $7.49
     * Wet n Wild Single Eyeshadow in #252B Nutty $1.29
     * Maybelline Single Eyeshadow in # 180S Silken Taupe $2.99

The eyeliner is AWESOME and it is pigmented and has shimmer in it as well. This product is not waterproof though. The eye shadows are very nice neutral colors and have a little bit of a sheen to them. I do think just based on my swatches that I did on the back of my hand that Maybelline's Silken Taupe is going to be a great blending color because the swatch was ever so subtle.

Overall I did catch some great deals on these products and I am soooo Excited to try them out. I hope you all enjoyed reading this. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions!

Facts About Me!

Q: Why is the blog titled All Night Beauty?
A: I decided to title my blog All Night Beauty because I spend late night hours researching and purchasing new beauty products. My husband  works the night shift, so I have many hours at night to myself and this allows me the time to go shopping at my local drugstores and online. I also stay up pretty late at night and watch endless amounts of You Tube videos and read many beauty blogs.

Q: Why did you start a blog?
A: I have been thinking about doing a blog for all things beauty and fashion related for sometime now, however I have been very hesitant because I am not the best writer in the world. However, I decided to take the plunge. I wanted to be able to share my opinions on products because I know the feeling of not knowing whether or not to try something. I am a sucker for reviews and I probably make all of my purchases based off of people that I follow, their opinions.

Q: What is your favorite and Least Favorite Beauty Product?
A: My most favorite thing ever is foundations! I love the way that a foundation can change to overall look of your face. My Least favorite beauty product would have to be lip sticks. I never feel like I can find the right color to match my skin tone and I feel like it makes my lips look really dry, I do like wearing them but I have a hard time with the selection process.

Q: Where is your favorite place to shop at?
A: I love Ulta! It's kind of like Cheers where everybody knows your name. I go in there so often that the employees know me.

Thank you guys for sharing in this little Q & A! I enjoyed doing it! Please be sure to follow my blog through bloglovin

Kat Von D Lock - It Tattoo Foundation

The Kat Von D Lock - It Tattoo Foundation was a foundation that I have been tempted to review since I watched a You Tube video of Megan at  ciaoobellaxo  using this foundation. Her face is always sooo Flawless and I was very inspired to achieve the same look that she has!

I went to Sephora to purchase this product since I wasn't really sure of any other place that would carry her line of makeup. I purchased it from Sephora for $34. The color that I purchased mine in is in the color L48. Click to Buy it at Sephora or Read Other Reviews

This foundation is oil free, fragrance free, matte finish, transfer resistant, 24 hour wearing, full coverage foundation.

The only thing that made me nervous about this foundation was that I did not want it to make me look like I had a Cake Face. The foundation has such great coverage I just did not want it too look like I had a mask on.

The Lock It Foundation has quickly turned into a great foundation that I have used everyday since my purchasing it. The coverage that it gives is a FULL coverage and is nothing short of that coverage. It does not feel heavy on the skin and the color that was matched for me turned out to be a perfect match. Since the product is such a matte finish I do have to warm it up a bit with a little bit of Laura Geller Bronze and Brighten and some of MAC's mineralized skin finish in Soft and Gentle. The staying power is that of 24 hours. I can put this on in the mornings before work and by 11:30pm when its time for bed the foundation is still in place as it was in the morning. As far as my acne and dark circles under my eyes this foundation did cover it very well, I did have to add the tiniest bit of conclear to blend it out just a little. The packaging on the foundation is one of my favorites this is a great acrylic type bottle with pump. The pump that is in the product is a very good one, it does not allow too much product to be released from the packaging. The only down fall of this product is that when you are applying it, you do have to work fast because it is a very thick formula and it makes it very hard blend if you don't work immediately after applying it.

Overall I would recommend this product for anyone that is looking for a full coverage matte foundation.

Living Proof Style Extender Review

Living Proof products are sold at a variety of different stores around town. I made my very first purchase of their products a few weeks ago. I walked into Sephora in search of a few new eye shadows when I came across the Living Proof Brand of hair products. I have to admit I was a little curious, I had seen some advertisements for the products and decided why the heck not go on and purchase something and give it a try.

I purchased the Living Proof Style Extender. At Sephora this costs around $20.00. I thought that price was fairly reasonable considering some hair products that I have purchased in the past cost double that amount.
To Purchase It Click Here

The hair product is marketed to extend your hair style past one day. Now I only wash my hair every 2 days, just to keep my hair healthier. My hair is naturally straight and does not hold any curl so on a daily basis I blow dry my hair and run a flat iron through it to tame any unruly hairs. Anyways back to the product.... So you get 5 oz. in the squeeze tube container. This is a very generous amount of product for the price.

The directions say to wash your hair and to run the Style Extender through your hair and then blow dry and style like normal. So I did just that, now I have really thick hair so I used about a quarter size amount in my hands and ran it through my wet hair from roots to ends. I then proceeded to dry my hair and then run the flat iron through it.

I must say this has quickly become a holy grail product for me. I went the normal 2 days with no washing of the hair and only using dry shampoo as needed. THIS PRODUCT did exactly what it was said to do!!! I am so impressed!! My hair normally starts to get a little cray cray after about a day and a half and to be honest I could probably go every three days with out washing my hair when I use this product. My hair did not appear oily and it continued to smell great.

Overall I would recommend this product to everyone. I even joked with a few of my friends that I was trying an experiment on my hair to see how long I could go without washing it and they even said that my hair looked awesome! I believe every girl needs to have this product in their everyday hair routine. Because it will be the best $20 you ever spend on hair care!
