Because It's Completely Normal to Spend This Kind of Money on Beauty Products
Hey Everyone!!! I wanted to share with you some new items that I picked up in my most recent Haul! I also filmed a video on my whole entire haul that I will link Here, so check it out if you are interested in seeing everything I hauled!
So Lets Get Started....
If you are a beauty obsessed person like myself you would not think twice about dropping some MAJOR cash on makeup and other beauty related items. However the normal average person might call you cray cray for doing so. Recently I made a few shopping trips and I purchased a few higher end products... So let's see how that turned out...
The first place I went was Sephora, where I purchased....
1. The GlamGlow Face Mask Gift Set. This set includes the GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment and the YouthMud Tinglexfoliate Treatment. This gift set was $69.00 and can be purchased online or at Sephora stores. The Supermud Clearing Treatment mask is a mask that you apply to your skin to clean out your pores. I have tried this one and it does work and it cleaned out all of my pores, however it left my skin feeling sooooo tight when I took it off. The YouthMud Tinglexfoliate Treatment Mask I have not used yet but I am planning on using it this weekend when I do my weekly Mask treatment. This mask is to be used for acne issues and has a tingling effect. I am a bit hesitate to use it because of the tingling effect but I am still going to give it a try.
2. Marc Jacobs Lolita Palette. This palette retails for $59.00 at Sephora. This is a neutral palette that has shades that range from creams, browns, coppers, and champagnes. There is a mix of mattes, sheens, and highly shimmer shades in this palette. I am really excited to try this one out. From what I can tell in my swatches the color pay off is going to be amazing!!
3. Soap and Glory "A Great Kisser" Lip Balm in Juicy Peach. I heard about this lip balm from Hope at Beauty and Bliss 67(be sure to go check out her blog and YouTube Channel). This lip balm is so soft and creamy and it smells just like Fresh Picked Peaches!!
Next I went to MAC and you can do some damage at that place.....
1. Wedge Eyeshadow- This is a soft matte brown eyeshadow that I picked because it is going to be a great crease/transition shade. It is so soft and creamy.
2. Cranberry Frost- This is a beautiful frosty cranberry pink. SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!
3. Amplified Creme Lipstick in Up the Amp.
4. Satin Lipstick in Snob. Very Popular Pink Shade
Finally I went to Dior.......
1. I purchased the Dior Rouge in #361 Rose Baiser - Very soft Mauvey Pink. Sooo moisturizing and long wearing.
2. Diorshow Fusion Mono is #381 Millenium- VERY SHIMMERY eye shadow pot. So pretty, the second I swatted this I fell in love and had to buy it.
So I am really excited to be using these products over the next few weeks and I will be happy to report back and let you guys know what I think.

Perfect Drugstore Palettes for Thanksgiving Looks
Hey Everyone!
Today's post is going to be about the best palettes from the drugstore to create the perfect look for Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving is just a few days away and everyone will be traveling and spending time with family and other loved ones, so how fitting is it that you create your makeup to reflect the holiday. I have chosen these palettes because they have shades in them that when you look at them you think Thanksgiving. This holiday is not only being thankful for family and friends and whatever else you may be thankful for, but about food. When you think of the spread of food on the table you see oranges, greens, browns, creams, yellows, and reds.
Here We Go:
#1 Wet N Wild Fergie Eye Shadow Palette in Desert Festival
This Palette contains 5 eyeshadows, the shades are absolutely gorgeous! There is a beautiful cream shade, a matte dark brown, a shimmer filled dark dark chocolate brown, a shimmery copper color, and a beautiful matte orange. When I first looked at this Palette Immediately I thought of the awesome looks you can create for Thanksgiving! So Beautiful!!!
#2 Revlon Color stay Eyeshadow Quad in Harmonious
In this quad there are 4 shades... A beautiful taupe, dark brown, light sage/grass green, and a beautiful coral shade that comes off a light orange when applied. These shadows are very creamy and when they are applied they go on like butter. This quad makes you think of fall when you are looking at it.
#3 Maybelline Eye Studio Quad in Smokey Cinnamon
This quad is soooo pretty. These quads are highly pigmented and full of shimmer. The quad has a cream, light green, orange/copper, and a dark moss green. This quad reminds me a lot of the colors that the leaves change in the fall. It is a very warm quad and can create so many different looks for the holiday.
#4 Maybelline Eye Studio Quad in Fall Temptation
This quad says it all in the name "Fall Tempation". The Fall Temptation quad is full of warm browns and taupes. Like all of the other Eye Studio Quads they are all full of shimmer shades. There is a beautiful taupe with a hint of cream in it, a peachy tan, bronzy brown, and a dark brown shade. All of these shades can be used to create a warm smokey eye look. So Pretty!
I found all of these palettes at my Local Walgreens and they range in price from $6 to $9!
I hope that you enjoyed this post and please leave comments below letting me know what your Favorite Palette is to create your Thanksgiving Look!

Covergirl Trueblend Foundation & Concealer and Covergirl Bombshell Mascara and Eyeliner Review & First Impression!!!!!
Hey Everyone!
I have recently discovered some new Covergirl Products and I thought I would share my thoughts and first impressions with you.
So Lets Get Started....
The first thing that I found was this Covergirl True Blend Foundation. I purchased the shade L6(Buff Beige). The packaging is a glass bottle with a cap over the pump, this packaging reminds me a lot of the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation. I especially like that this foundation has a pump, I think that those are always the easiest to use and they are a lot less messy. The foundation claims to blend into your skin, which it does. I feel like this is a perfect match to my skin tone. There are 21 shades available in this line. This foundation is a light to medium coverage, I found that it is more on the lighter side, but you can build it up to a medium coverage foundation. Again, this Covergirl product has that traditional Covergirl Smell that is not that pleasant, but it goes away after a little bit. I would recommend this foundation to anyone to try, I found mine at Meijer and it was around $7 or $8.
In the same trip to Mejier I also found that Covergirl came out with a Concealer Stick in the same True Blend Line, I picked it up as well to give it a try, I picked up the shade L5 6 7 or Light. I like this concealer stick ALOT. It is very creamy and gives a medium coverage when applied, however it feels very moisturizing when it is on the skin. I would not use this as an under eye concealer, however this would be great to cover up blemishes and or other discolorations. This comes in the traditional stick, it looks a lot like their Jumbo Gloss Balms, it has a clear plastic cap and you twist the bottom up for more product. I would recommend this product to anyone to try.
If you are only wanting to buy one thing out of this new line I would go for the concealer over the foundation, because I feel like the Stay Fabulous Foundation is a little bit better than this True Blend is. I think that with this line Covergirl is going to a similar concept as The L'Oreal True Match. Basically what you do is find your foundation match with your skin tone and each shade has a number assigned to it (i.e. L6) and then you choose from the other products that coordinate with the same shades. I really do like this kind of concept it makes choosing shades a lot easier.
Next I was at CVS and I found that Covergirl released a new mascara, so of course I had to purchase it, it's called the Covergirl Bombshell Volume by Lash Blast. This was very intriguing to me because it is a double ended mascara, having two different brushes, one on each end of the wand. The end labeled with a #1 is the Extreme Volume Base coat, this end is going to give your lashes the most volume. I found that it does give volume to the lashes, I would say that there are better voluminous mascaras out there but this is pretty decent. The wand for this end has very short rubber bristles, I really did not care for them because I feel like they can't really grab on to my lashes to distribute the product. I find them to be very similar to the Maybelline The Rocket Mascara.
The end labeled #2 is the Intensifying Top Coat, this coat is going to intensify the volume of the lashes. This wand has bigger non-rubber bristles, which I love!! I think that it really does intensify the volume of the lashes. I would wear this end of the wand alone.
I did one eye with this mascara and the other with the L'Oreal Butterfly Effects and you can really tell a difference in the Lashes, the side with the Covergirl Looked so much better! The packaging is bulky, it is a very wide tube of mascara and I feel like it would not be very easy to throw in a makeup bag in your purse. Overall though a good mascara and I probably would not repurchase it just because I have so many other drugstore favorites that are out there.
In the same display as the Bombshell Mascara there was a liquid eyeliner called the Bombshell Intensity Eyeliner, I picked this up because well why not, haha. I absolutely did not like this eyeliner at all, it is not very pigmented and I felt that it faded after just a couple of hours of wearing it. I also thought that the tube and the wand with the liner on it was just too small and not very easy to work with. Strange enough when I came home with this eyeliner I thought that I already had this, so I went digging through my collection and found the Line blast 24 hour Eyeliner..... Oddly Enough I think that these two eyeliners are the exact same liners, just repackaged. So to my disappointment I kind of hated that I purchased the Bombshell Eyeliner because I did not like the Line blast 24 Hour Eyeliner.
Overall these are some good products, I wouldn't run out and buy them, but if your looking for something new or different to try, then give them a shot.

Sigma F80 vs. Beauty Blender
Hey Everyone! I hope that you are all having a lovely day! Let's Dive into Today's Post.....
Today I am going to be discussing the Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki Brush vs. The Beauty Blender Sponge.
Many of you have heard of both of these makeup application tools by now. I currently own both of them and have tested them out long enough to be able to give you all an accurate assessment of what I think about them.

The Sigma F80 brush is a very dense, flat top kabuki brush that has been out for a while now. I have been using this brush to apply my foundation for a while now and I absolutely love it. I usually take the liquid foundation and dab it all over my skin with my finger and then go back and buff it in with my Sigma F80. The F80 gives the foundation a great airbrushed finish to the skin. I love this look because it makes your skin appear very flawless. I have found that I can use this with any liquid foundation that I have and I have not had any trouble with how it applies. The brush is very dense so when it comes to cleaning the brush it does take a little bit of extra time, but if you are like me you are willing to spend the extra time to preserve the life of your brush. I have recommend this brush to many people and I would recommend anyone to buy this brush it is definitely worth the investment. Currently the F80 retails for $21 on Sigma.com, but there are so many coupon codes out there, that you are able to get a discount.
Now on to the Beauty Blender.... The beauty blender has been around for a while and I have read and watched so many reviews on this interesting little pink sponge that I finally broke down and bought one. The Beauty Blender retails for $19.95 on Sephora.com, however on Amazon.com you can buy two beauty blenders for around $23.00 which is a better deal. I have always been intrigued by the fact that you have to wet the sponge before you apply the foundation with it, in order to get the intended effect. So I soaked the sponge with water, then dabbed my foundation on my skin with my finger, and then buffed it into my skin using stippling/dabbing motions with the beauty blender. The Beauty Blender does give the skin a more moisturized feeling with the foundation and I feel like it gives more of a dewy finish to the foundation no matter what kind you are wearing. This can be a negative because if you are like me the full coverage, matte foundations are not getting their intended finish. I also found that the beauty blender is a little bit harder to blend foundation down into the neck area. The Beauty Blender is very easy to clean, I would just recommend that you use a gentle brush cleaner on the Beauty Blender so that it does not break down the sponge itself. Overall, I have to say that I like the Beauty Blender, especially in the winter because it does leave my skin feeling moisturized.
FINAL VERDICT:
I would have to say that you can not go wrong with either one of these products when applying your foundation, especially depending on what kind of finish you are wanting for your foundation.
With that being said I do have to say that the Sigma F80 is still my go to tool to apply my foundation with.

Almay Shadow Softies -- Review/First Impression
Hey Everyone! I know it Has been a few days since my last post however, I am glad to be back at it!
Today I am going to be doing a Review/First Impression post of the
Almay Shadow Softies single eye shadows.
Lets Get Started.....
I found these single eye shadows on the top shelf at Target, kind of shoved in the back where you wouldn't notice them. There were several shades to choose from but I chose Vintage Grape and Smoke. These 2 shades were the only ones out of the group that I thought I would get the most use out of. The other colors I felt were shades that I would wear more in the spring and summer, as they were brighter shades. These individual eye shadows retail for between $4 and $6, which is around the normal price for single drugstore eye shadows.
Vintage Grape (left) Smoke (right)
#140 Vintage Grape:
I picked this shade because it looked to be a deep beautiful purple. There was a small amount of shimmer, but I was okay with that because it looked as if it would hardly show up when applied to the lid. When I swatched it there was hardly any pigmentation to the shade so I was kind of disappointed with that, because I thought this would be a pretty shade to go with my hazel-brown eyes. Even when I tried to build the shade up on my lid it was next to impossible to get any color to show up.
#150 Smoke:
This is a smokey brown shade with a hint of taupe. This shade also has a hint of shimmer in it like the Vintage Grape, but it was not enough for me to be concerned with. Swatching this color, I was a little more excited because it did have a lot of color pay off. When I applied it to my lid it was really happy, the shadow was absolutely beautiful. Much like the Vintage Grape I had to pack the shade on, but once I had the color built up it was soooo pretty!
Vintage Grape is the Left Swatch and Smoke is the Right Swatch
Packaging: The package for these shadows are in a black teardrop shaped compact, with a peak through window on the top so you are able to see the color of the shadow. The package is very to open. I would say that if you have ALOT of makeup these could be kind of tricky to store with other single eye shadows because of the their shape.
Texture: These shadows are very Soft, hint the name Shadow Softies. They are very creamy to the touch and apply very easily. They remind me alot of how the Lorac Eye shadows apply to the lid, they go on kind of like butter. I like the texture of these shadows but if I had to guess, this soft texture has something to do with why they are not very pigmented, but I am not 100% certain.
Vintage Grape(left) Smoke(right)
Overall these are very pretty shades, but I would probably not repurchase these because they just do not have enough pigmentation.
